Paradise Falls is the last place anyone expects the battle for mankind’s existence will be. That’s what happens when unearthly forces begin to descend upon the little truck stop in the middle of nowhere. With the help of Archangel Michael, who was sent to end humanity by preventing the birth of Charlie’s unborn baby, the group must fight for their own and the baby’s survival. Here are a few movie mistakes to look for while watching “Legion”.
· At the beginning of the movie, Michael faces the two police officers. After one becomes possessed and shoots the other, Michael fires his weapons. The wider, front view as the officer is hit shows him roll off the hood of the police cruiser and land on a mattress (for the stunt person??) next to the car. As Michael drives away a few moments later, the officer is shown laying on the pavement in the road.
· Gladys arrives at the restaurant and places her purse in the chair next to her. One of the purse’s straps sits up, against the back of the chair. It’s still that way when she says “the father must be very proud” to Charlie. In the close-up of Gladys when she says, “what about the baby?”, the purse’s strap is down. It cuts to Charlie and back to Gladys when she makes the “it’s going to burn” remark and the purse’s strap is up again.
· Kyle and Audrey are on the roof when a van pulls up to the gas pump. The van initially stops just past the gas pumps. After the man gets out and tells the boy to stay, the van is now even with the pumps.
· CAUTION: May Contain Spoilers! Gabriel and Michael are battling in the
restaurant. In a wider view, Gabriel throws Michael onto the glass countertop. He holds him down to hit him with the spiked weapon. Michael grabs the gun and moves, causing Gabriel to break the glass on the countertop. It cuts to another view as they continue to battle and the countertop’s glass is intact. It’s broken when Gabriel approaches Bob who’s on the floor on the other side.
“Legion” (2010) stars Paul Bettany, Dennis Quaid, Lucas Black, Tyrese Gibson, Adrianne Palicki, Charles S. Dutton, Kevin Durand, Kate Walsh, Jon Tenney and Willa Holland. It runs 100 minutes and is rated R for strong bloody violence, and language.
