Erika Lyn Smith is a child safety advocate who writes online about the dangers our children face every day, especially with the advancements in electronic media.

Erika Lyn Smith is a freelance author, photographer, and creative artist. Currently, Erika works as a Behavioral Medicine RN in a hospital based crisis stabilization unit with adults. Erika has 16 years working in Behavioral Medicine, and 10 years with children and adolescents in both a long term residential care setting and hospital based crisis stabilization unit.

When a child disappears and is believed to be in grave and immediate danger an Amber Alert is activated. If there are active amber alert you will see the information displayed in the ticker below.
